Travel instructions from Narita Airport to Grand Arc Hanzomon Hotel

The most convenient way to get to Grand Arc Hanzomon Hotel is taking the Airport Limousine Bus, though there are many ways to travel between Narita Airport and central Tokyo. Please refer to the instructions below.

  1. By Airport Limousine Bus

    Take the Airport Limousine Bus from Narita station (leaving from the arrival lobby on the 1st floor) to T-CAT (Tokyo City Air Terminal). You can get a ticket at Airport Limousine counters located in the arrival lobbies (in front of the exit) in Narita Airport. The One Way ticket costs JPY 2,900. It usually takes about 90 minutes to take you to the central area of Tokyo.

    After getting off the bus at T-CAT, catch a subway (Tokyo Metro) from Suitengumae (Z10) station to Hanzomon (Hanzomon line). Grand Arc Hanzomon hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from Exit 1 of the Hanzomon (Z05) Metro station.

  2. By Trains

    Option1 JR
    JR (Japan Railway) offers express train service from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station. The train service costs 2,940 Yen. Grand Arc Hanzomon hotel is located about 10 minutes ride by taxi from Tokyo Station. The taxi service may cost you approximately JPY 1,500.

    Option2 Keisei Railway
    Keisei Railway offers a limited express train from Narita Airport to Ueno station. Get a ticket for Keisei Ueno at Keisei Travel office in Narita Aitport (costs JPY 1,920). After getting off the train, please catch a subway from Ueno station (G16 of Ginza Line) to Mitsukoshi-mae (G12), and transfer to Hanzomon Line to get to the Hanzomon station (Z05 of Hanzomon Line). Grand Arc Hanzomon hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from Exit 1 of the Hanzomon Metro station.

NOTICE: Please be informed that it may cost approximately JPY 20,000 (USD 210) to take a taxi from Narita Airport to Grand Arc Hanzomon.

Transportation from the hotel to the conference venue

The National Police Agency of Japan will arrange a chartered bus service between the Hotel and the conference venue during the conference period. If you would not take the bus, you could get to the conference venue by the following way.

December 9th-11th: Mita Conference Hall (Mita Kaigisho)

It takes about 30 minutes from Grand Arc Hanzomon hotel to Mita Conference Hall. Catch a subway at Hanzomon station to Nagatacho (Hanzomon Line). Then transfer to Nanboku line to Azabu-juban(N04). It takes about 5 minutes walk to the Hall (please refer to the map).

Useful Information

  1. Power

    Tokyo area uses 100V AC/50Hz. The shape of Japanese power outlets is identical to those used in the United States (two blades in parallel) except that most Japanese power outlets do not have the third hole for the ground pin.

  2. Foreign Currency Exchange

    The conference venue and the Hotel do not have foreign currency exchange counter. It is strongly recommended that you should have Japanese currency before you arrive in Japan. Some foreign currencies may not be changed into Japanese currency in Japan.

  3. Shopping

    Most small shop, taxicabs and train stations do not accept credit cards. It is advised to carry some Japanese Yen cash. Most bank ATMs do not take Cirrus/Plus bank cards for withdrawal.

  4. Weather

    Average temperature in December in Tokyo, Japan is 5 degrees centigrade.
