Organisation
The International Organization on Computer Evidence (IOCE) is guided by a board of five elected members: a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and two executive directors. In addition to that each region is represented in the board.
The elected board members serve a term of two years and may stand for re-election.

Purpose
"The purpose of this Organisation shall be to provide an international forum for law enforcement agencies to exchange information concerning computer investigation and digital forensic issues."
The objectives of this organisation are:
- to identify and discuss issues of common interest.
- to facilitate the international dissemination of information.
- to develop recommendations for consideration by the member agencies.
Membership
Regular membership is open to Law Enforcement Agencies who conduct digital evidence investigations, and are accfredited by their National or local government, upon an invitation of the IOCE board.
Associate membership is open to educators, commercial representatives, contractors, other government agencies and law enforcement agencies with outside commercial interests. Application for associate membership requires endorsement from a full member organisation within your country.

ByLaws
Activities of the organisation are governed by its by-laws.
The by-laws are currently under revision, following changes that were proposed and agreed upon in the 2008 IOCE meeting in Madrid. The updated by-laws will be published here shortly.
